Braunton is to be found in North Devon some 200 miles southwest of London and 5 miles west of Barnstaple on the A361.

Did you know Braunton is the largest village in England.. In 1991 the population was 7,614 and by 2001 there is predicted to be 7,385. That is a scary thought, if that carries on by 2034 there will only be 1 person left! Rural Braunton's population is slightly higher at around 11,500. Approximately 30% of the population are aged between 16 & 44.
