SwanTours part of Taw and Torridge Coaches
In 2006 Taw and Torridge Coaches took over a Luxury Coach Holiday Tour Company, SwanTours which was based in Bath. Taw and Torridge coaches had provided the coaches to SwanTours for over 10 years so already understood what was required for clients to receive the best a coach holiday has to deliver. We retained the SwanTours name because of the fantastic reputation the company already had in giving clients a very high standard coach holiday. For operational reasons the company re-located to our head office in North Devon. When we were comfortable with the running of SwanTours the next step was to offer people in Devon Luxury Coach Holidays.
Clients across Devon soon realised that ‘you haven’t toured until you have SwanToured’.
SwanTours operate a door to door home collection service.
The coaches that are used have reduced seating so give substantially more legroom than standard coaches and have reclining seats, hot drinks facilities and a toilet.
The hotels are always 3 – 5* on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis and all admissions and excursions are included in the tour price.
In 2010 SwanTours moved in to Cornwall as we realised there was a market for SwanTours Luxury Coach Holidays.
Covering the whole of the southwest of England has enabled us to bring family and friends together by giving them the opportunity to be able to go on holiday together even though they live miles apart.
