RGB was established in 1850 as a timber importing business operating out of Rolles Quay, Barnstaple. The company has since grown into one of the leading independent, family owned builders’ merchants in the South West employing over 200 staff.

During 2005 RGB relocated their Barnstaple Branch and Head Office to prestigious new premises on the Pottington Business Park, giving the Barnstaple Branch the largest merchant site in the area.
