The George Hotel is a small comfortable hotel situated in the heart of the village of Braunton, with ample and easy parking in our own managed car park,which is situated opposite the hotel. The bars are busy with locals and afford our guests the opportunity to mix with, and get a flavour, of North Devon life.

Braunton is ideally situated in North Devon for both business and for pleasure/sporting pursuits. Being within easy reach (4 miles) of Barnstaple, the regional town centre and also our beautifull beaches renowned for surfing, wild and stunning Exmoor, glorious Devon countryside and championship golf courses, the incredible sand dunes of Braunton Burrows and historic Braunton Great Field

The Hotel is also on the bus route (the bus stop is actually called The George Hotel) with regular local bus services to Barnstaple, Ilfracombe, Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay as well as a National Express stop.

TO FIND US:
leave the M5 at junction 27 signposted Barnstaple
Take A361 Barnstaple (60mph limit various cameras on route)
Arrive in Barnstaple at the Tesco roundabout. Drive through the town following the A361 signs for Braunton/Ilfracombe.
4 miles later arrive in Braunton. The George Hotel on the left, car park on the right.
Non patrons are levied a charge for the car park, but for our guests the car park is, of course, completely free of charge.

Daily: Open from 9am

Mondays & Tuesdays: Around the World at the George Hotel. (2.30pm - 9.30pm) Order a meal from the 'Country of the World' menu board and then choose a bottle of Becks,a real ale or a 175ml glass of wine for £5.50

Fridays & Saturdays: Open Until Midnight

Sundays: Karaoke at the George Hotel with Terry from 8pm

Bed & breakfast: £25 per person per night
