Why spend time on the road when you could be out having fun? By planning your journey wisely you could turn travelling time into holiday time. Did you know that the peak traffic period on the roads in the West Country is between 11am and 3pm? Set off early and you not only get extra hours to enjoy the beauty of North Devon, you'll also beat the traffic. Go home late and you'll not only travel when roads are quiet but you will make every day of your holiday count.

How to get here:

North Devon is in the South West of the UK. The easiest route to North Devon by car is from junction 27 of the M5 motorway. The A361 brings you directly into the heart of the region.

By rail the scenic Tarka Line from Exeter to Barnstaple connects with Intercity trains. National Express together with the local bus network, serve the main resorts in the area.

Airports at Exeter and Bristol are also convenient gateways to the region.
